Overview

Roche Diagnostics invites leading experts from laboratories, public health, and clinical fields to an hour long session to share insights into our commitment to strengthening diagnostics across the continent.

Today 47% of the global population — 81% of whom reside in low and lower-middle income countries — have little or no access to diagnostics, according to the Lancet Commission. s workshop is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to the field of robotic surgery. Through a combination of demonstrations, simulator sessions, hands-on practice, and a round table discussion with robotic experts, participants will gain a thorough understanding of this innovative surgical technology.

This session aims to highlight the importance of strengthening laboratory networks through a testing continuum from point of care to reference laboratories in a laboratory and broader healthcare ecosystem.

Through a panel discussion, we will explore perspectives and views of the panelists considering the challenges, the opportunities as well as reported experiences from the laboratory perspective in supporting and delivering diagnostic solutions within the healthcare system.
